My daughter, Frances, has only been participating in pageants for 11 months. Until recently, it never occurred to me just how important the photogenic score is to the overall outcome of almost any pageant. When I met Billy, I didn't really know what to expect. He took the time to talk with me and explain the way everything works, right down to the length of time it takes to get an enhancement, and the variables. Ms. Teresea was my daughter's make up artist for the shoot, and was patient and kind even though my daughter was being a bit of a pill. Then, I dropped her off at Billy's, leaving him to deal with a difficult and still fussy (probably exhausted) child. All I have to say is that Billy must be magical. Frances came out of the room, giving Billy high fives, cutting up, and giggling. Billy had managed to get her in a VERY good mood, and she was happy for the rest of the competition. When I saw the proofs later, I asked, "How did you get these enhanced so quickly?" He smiled and said, "No, that part isn't done." I was so surprised! The proofs were that good. There wasn't a bad picture in the bunch, and it was hard to choose THE ONE. Billy is a true artist, in every sense of the word. Anyone can see that from the end result, and the best part is, that it is still a picture of my daughter. Her features haven't been replaced or digitized to the point of looking like an anime' character or ceramic doll like so many other glitz photos I have seen. Billy also communicated with me regularly to let me know the status of Frances' picture, and his emails were always pleasant and professional. Billy, Even though Jessica was tired at the shoot, you still made it fun for her and we got great photos. You have a way of making the shoots fun for everyone! Her photo is awesome and we really loved the attention you gave to all the small details, plus the fast turn around time on the photos. You made sure that we had a photo in time for our next big pageant. You know I am terrible at picking out a good headshot of my own daughter but you were more than glad to help us! Billy is great with kids. Delaney just loves him ! I have been exceptionally pleased with his artistry, photography skills, and patience when dealing with children. We have booked three shoots with BTK and had a great time. He took the time to find the personalities of each client he was photographing.
